Students are taught the fundamentals to pass exams.
They also learn and are taught how to pass selection processes.
But when they graduate, they still lack the key skills and resilience that will really enable them to excel in the workplace. The majority are not even aware that these skills exist or are desirable to an employer. They are, however painfully aware of the fierce competition within the graduate marketplace. Many join their Bright Futures Society on campus and attend employer and Career Service led skills sessions so that they can really stand out from the crowd.
Bright Futures have partnered with The Learning Architect to establish the Modern Life Skills Academy. We believe skills and resilience can be delivered not only at undergraduate level to allow students to excel at university, but also to graduates to enable them to thrive in the workplace. The Modern Life Skills Academy will also identify and promote your organisation as an innovator and differentiate your on-campus brand from your competitors.
