‘Society Training Conference’

Overview

We know a good, strong committee is essential in making our societies the best on campus right across the UK. We want to help our committees in this by providing support and training conferences which incorporate their views, ideas and feedback, along with those of our Recruiter Investors.
Together, we believe the committee can deliver the right events, with the right people, at the right time and in a way that maximises impact for the committee, their student members and of course the graduate employers.
This conference will enable them to get off to a flying start in their academic year. We focus on 3 main areas which include: PURPOSE, RESPONSIBILITIES &COLLABORATION. The committees will also have the opportunity to share best practices with fellow committee members, learn how to make best use of the tools available to them, grill the recruiters of anything and everything they want to know about how to make their society successful, plus book up their events diary!

Their Involvement

In addition to this personal development, each year the committees tell us of the value they gain from the opportunity to network with:

• Other Societies and find out what each other are doing is invaluable, so we provide them a platform to share their personal experiences and ideas
• Recruiters, so again we provide a platform for facilitated networking between the recruiters and committees to focus on society activities and as well as helping to plan their events for the year.

When?
