What is the Bright Futures School Society?

The Bright Futures Society is a student-run Society (Group) within schools championing Careers, Skills & Employability by running events with employers (both from our network and that of each School.

Based on the highly successful university model, the school society is managed by a committee of career focused students from years 11, 12 and 13 with help and guidance from the Bright Futures National Team. The aim is to organise a range of events throughout the year that will empower students to make the right decisions about their future. By engaging with a variety of employers, students explore their options and equip themselves with the skills they need to successfully compete in the job market, either as a school leaver, or later on as a graduate.

"We've been highly impressed with the calibre of confident, proactive and professional Bright Futures Society students who we've worked with in schools. We're fully supportive of this initiative, which encourages school students to take ownership for enhancing their employability skills and planning for their future from a very early stage."
