Whether you know what you want to do when you leave school or not, whether it is work or University, the Bright Futures Society can help.
It is never too early (or too late) to start finding out about future careers; the most successful students do.
Doing as well as you can academically matters but so does developing yourself. Employers want rounded & grounded young people coming out of school who have done more to make themselves employable.
Joining Clubs and Societies, Volunteering. Work Experience, or taking on a Part Time Job are just some of the ways you can start taking steps to creating a successful future for yourself.
So why not join or establish the Bright Futures Society in your School?
The Bright Futures Society operates in Schools across the UK, as well as in over 50 UK universities (so you can join the Society if you go to University as well).
By being part of the Society, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop & improve those important job hunting and work related skills
- Have something different on your CV and / or Personal Statement
- Meet and network with employers, current graduates and apprentices
- Find out about work experience and job opportunities
But most of all being an active part of the Society will give you a competitive 'edge' in the job market.
And your Society is supported by a National Team, who provide training for the committee, insights into the job market as a school leavers or graduate, year round advice & support, plus new employer contacts.
So to start a Society at your School just drop us an email and we will be in touch
