Regional Manager - South

Jackie began her journey with Bright Futures as a student, setting up the Swansea Bright Futures Society & achieving numerous awards and nominations.  Her success & experiences, along with her work with the Athletic and Students’ Union, lead to her joining Bright Futures as a graduate & taking up the Regional Manager position for the South of England. In her role, supporting & growing the Bright Futures Societies in 16 Universities, she provides high levels of support through face to face meetings, emails, and calls as well as being available to discuss issues with any one of our societies across the country (almost 40 now!). In addition she ensures the Society continues to grow nationally by identifying other Universities to set up a Bright Futures Society.      

Jackie’s abilities are, and have to be, highly diverse. One day she might be running workshops or delivering presentations with a large group of students, and on another, working with a small group on very specific activities and giving one to one advice, all with charisma and vitality.

In addition she manages much of the Bright Futures corporate marketing, ensuring our brand is clear across all our services, as well as providing marketing collateral to our Society committees to help them promote & grow their student membership.

Her Zoological degree leads to a wide variety of odd interests, including an unhealthy fascination for spiders… She coxes for various rowing clubs when she gets a moment free (and its not sub-zero conditions!), she loves being creative and has challenged herself to no more shopping and instead to make her own clothes out of old ones or those bought from charity or reclaim – we may wish her luck but we aren’t holding our breaths!
