International Sales & Management Opportunities:

Locations: London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Canterbury, Dublin, Manchester

Meltwater Group will be opening its doors to new graduates from January 2011.  Apply now for the chance to be able to start an exciting and rewarding career.
Discover a company that puts fun and winning first on their list of priorities; a company that invests in your potential, not just in your background or experience.
At Meltwater, we offer exceptional careers to people with exceptional talent. Every successful Managing Director and Area Director at Meltwater (we have over 50 offices globally with Sydney, Hong Kong, New York, to name a few) started in this programme within the last 4 years. With continued expansion across the US, Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe in 2011, this really is an exciting time to join the Meltwater Group.
To continue our unprecedented growth, we need people with a natural flair for sales and entrepreneurship, and who want to become leaders. In effect, we are looking for our next line of Managing Directors who all start in the company as Sales Consultants.
Through our sales programme, our consultants play a pivotal role in the delivery of news to over 18,000 global household brands. As part of this team, your role will be to identify potential clients and help them track business critical news that will affect them daily. You will be speaking to Communications Directors, MDs, CEOS, press teams and PR agencies alike.
This is a great first step for anyone seeking a career in business and sales.  The skills and market knowledge you will gain as a Sales Consultant and eventually as a Sales Manager open up exciting opportunities throughout Meltwater Group.
This is a proactive sales-based role.  You will need to be driven by results and have excellent communication skills, a professional attitude and the ability to think around a problem. The ideal candidate will be motivated by working towards targets, being pushed outside their comfort zone and developing their business skills through cold calling, client meetings and business pitches. You should have a good degree and a proven interest in current affairs.  Previous commercial experience, ideally in a sales or management, will be an advantage but not by any means a pre-requisite.
