With almost 20 years of industry knowledge and experience in recruiting and developing graduates in the UK and Europe, Simon owns and runs Bright Futures Resourcing, a leading graduate selection and development consultancy.

Simon has a real passion for the graduate market. He understands that companies with the ambition to excel need the very best talent and believes the graduate market offers incredible potential for providing this talent.  As part of unleashing this talent he invests lots of time & energy into helping the top-tier graduates to prepare for the job-hunting market and the ‘big wide world’ of work.

In 2007, Simon was asked to take over the running of the Student Industrial Society (SIS), established in 1977, the Society helps students to maximise their employability skills and give them a competitive edge in the highly competitive job market. Under his leadership, the society has rebranded and successfully re-launched as the Bright Futures Society, now a not-for-profit, the organisation works with over 30 prominent graduate recruiters (including Accenture, KPMG, RBS, Nestle, Centrica, IBM, College of Law, BT Hiscox & Thales) http://www.bright-futures.org.uk/corporate-list/ and has more than doubled in size to now work with over 35 ‘Bright Futures’ universities across the UK.

Simon speaks to Universities and businesses across the UK on the subject of graduates and the graduate market.

In the free time he runs marathons and half marathons; and is kept entertained by his young daughter.
